    The story

In the rolling hills near Montmeló, north of Barcelona, this circuit has hosted Grand Prix racing every year since it opened in 1991. Teams know its 4.657 kilometres by heart after countless test days, yet it still exposes every weakness. A long main straight ends in hard braking for the first corner, the fast right-hander that follows punishes the tyres, and flowing final corners lead back onto the straight. Fourteen corners, clockwise, usually under a Mediterranean sun. Hang it on your wall and Catalan summer is never far away.
