The story

Squeezed between harbour and hillside in Monte-Carlo, this is racing at its most intimate: barriers inches away, no room for error, every corner a postcard. These streets have hosted the Grand Prix since 1929. From Sainte-Dévote the lap climbs past the Casino, drops through Mirabeau to the painfully slow Grand Hôtel hairpin, then bursts out of the Tunnel along the water. Tabac, the Piscine and La Rascasse squeeze it all back to the start. Hang it in the hallway for a daily dose of Riviera glamour.
