The story
Deep in the Ardennes forest, Spa-Francorchamps is a long, rolling ribbon of tarmac where the weather changes from valley to valley. First laid out on public roads in 1921, it still feels wild today. From the tight La Source hairpin the cars plunge downhill, then claw up the wall of Eau Rouge and Raidillon before flying down the Kemmel straight. Later, Pouhon and the flat-out sweep of Blanchimont demand pure courage. Every glance at your wall brings back the scent of wet pine and hot brakes.
