    The story

Tucked into a natural bowl near Mogyoród, just outside Budapest, this circuit works like an amphitheatre: from the grassy slopes, fans can follow much of the lap. When it opened in 1986, it hosted the first Grand Prix behind the Iron Curtain. Its 14 corners rarely give drivers a breather, with just one real straight, so overtaking is hard and qualifying counts double. After the downhill rush to the first corner, everything is about rhythm and precision. A summer classic, ready to bring some Hungarian heat into your living room.
