Elevation profile
The story
From the old mining town of Dobšiná, the I/67, the main road towards Poprad, climbs 6.81 km and 397 m through thirty bends to the Dobšinský kopec saddle. The finish lies just before the turn-off to Dedinky, on the edge of the Slovak Paradise. Racing began here in 1973, and ten years later the climb first counted towards the Czechoslovak championship. From 2012 it was Slovakia's round of the European championship, sharing the calendar with the great Alpine classics. For the fan who discovered Central Europe through its hill climbs, or who still plans to.
