Elevation profile
The story
Four hairpins, 343 m of climbing and pitches of up to 11 %, packed into 4.4 km: the climb from Pedavena towards Croce d'Aune is short and fierce. It starts in the village, next to Feltre in the province of Belluno, and finishes at Pian d'Avena, well below the pass itself. The first race was held in 1971. After 1973 the road fell silent for years, until racing resumed in 1984, and the 2026 meeting, the 42nd, was a round of the Italian hill-climb championship. For the fan who knows the Dolomites from their southern foothills, and knows that a short climb is never an easy one.
