Elevation profile
The story
Short and steep: 3734 m long, averaging 8.4 % and touching 12.6 % at its steepest. The course starts in the hamlet of Dürrbach above Riggisberg, in the Bernese foothills, and finishes at Gurnigelbad, once home to a widely known spa hotel. Cars first raced up here on 21 August 1910, on what was then a gravel road. After the road was paved, the hill climb returned in 1968, and it has been part of the Swiss championship since 1970. The 2026 meeting was called off because of drought and the risk of forest fires. For anyone who knows a short climb can still demand everything.
