The story

Interlagos means 'between lakes', and the circuit sits in a natural bowl on the southern edge of São Paulo, between two reservoirs. Opened in 1940, it runs anticlockwise and rarely stops climbing or falling. From the start the lap dives into a tumbling left-right, races down the Reta Oposta and through the Descida do Lago, then twists through Ferradura, Laranjinha and Mergulho. Finally, Junção launches the long uphill charge of the Subida dos Boxes, often inside a wall of noise. Pure Brazilian passion, ready for your living room.
