The route

Named corners

    The story

Deep in Styria, framed by green hills and forested mountains, Spielberg packs a remarkable amount into just ten corners. The 4.326-kilometre lap is short, steep and quick: a climb up the hillside to a tight uphill right-hander, long full-throttle runs, then a plunge back down through fast, flowing bends to the finish line. When the circuit opened in 1969, its layout was far longer and swept through the surrounding countryside. Hang this one where you drink your morning coffee and breathe a little Alpine air every day.
