The story
In the dry hills west of Valencia, near Cheste, the track sits in a natural bowl like a stadium. Many seats overlook nearly the whole lap: a long main straight, a heavy stop into the first corner, then a tight, mostly left-handed infield that tests tyres and patience. Compact at just over four kilometres, it is rarely dull. Opened in 1999, it became the place where the motorcycle Grand Prix season often reaches its finale. On your wall, the roar of a season finale never quite fades.
