The story

At the southern tip of Seneca Lake, in the wine and waterfall country of upstate New York, Watkins Glen became a racing town when cars sped through its streets after the war. The permanent track followed in 1956, carved into the wooded hills above the village. The lap is fast and flowing: up through the Esses, around the Boot, a long loop into the woods, then back to the grandstands. For twenty autumns the Grand Prix called it home. American racing history, ready for your wall.
