The story

Tucked into a wooded hollow in the Kent countryside, Brands Hatch works like a natural amphitheatre: from the grassy banks you follow the cars over the brow and down again. The lap opens with Paddock Hill Bend, a blind, off-camber right that drops away as you turn in, then climbs to the Druids hairpin before the full 3.916-kilometre loop slips into the woods. Opened in 1950, it later hosted the Grand Prix every other year. Hang it for anyone who knows the smell of a damp English race morning.
