    The story

When night falls over Marina Bay, Singapore's streets light up under a blaze of floodlights. In 2008 this became the first night race in Grand Prix history, and it still feels unique: 19 corners over 4.927 kilometres, walls everywhere and a tropical humidity that drains even the fittest drivers. The anticlockwise lap winds past the glittering skyline, along the waterfront and by colonial-era landmarks, with hardly a moment to relax. Hang it in the bedroom and let it remind you of a city that never seems to sleep.
