The story
Not every pass needs altitude or drama to stay with you. At 1,875 metres the Campolongo is the lowest of the four passes around the Sella massif, and at roughly ten kilometres from Corvara to Arabba it is a short, flowing link. Yet it is a lovely piece of road: open meadows, wide views and Dolomite rock walls on every horizon. Both ramps stay moderate, peaking at 9 per cent from Corvara and 10 per cent from Arabba. In Ladin it is Ju de Ćiaulunch, and it is open all year. A quiet reminder, on any wall, that the best rides are not always the longest.
